This was my winning entry into the 2011 national DG Student Design competition here in Australia. The requirement was to design a cover page for DG Magazine that visually referenced a past design style. I chose the Art Deco style and due to my close relationship with coffee centered the design around it. The text under the art deco time period "Le Cafe Fait L'Art" translates from french to "The Coffee makes the Art". France being the origin of the style.
